Plot: Melody is a simple story involving youngsters. It is about four people Kiran, Anushka, Madhu, and Benedict. Kiran and Anushka meet each other over a social network and start to converse with each other. Kiran asks his close friend Madhu to help him out by talking to her as Kiran and knowing more about her. In the meantime, Anushka falls in love with Madhu’s voice and decides to marry him unaware who he is. Kiran also agrees to marry her after he turns a CEO of the firm in which he works.

After the marriage, Anushka comes to know that Kiran is not the boy she loved. She starts to raise a list of questions before him, and he admits his mistake. However, she decides to leave him and go. The two still agree to pretend as a couple in front of her father, but he too realizes the truth very fast. In the meantime, Madhu falls in love with Benedict, Anushka’s friend. Anushka then takes a very wrong step which is left for viewers to watch. What follows is the suspense. It is interesting to see what the rest of the movie has in the hold and what happens with them and also how it changes their lives. It also has a pretty nice message incorporated in it.

Analysis: The film has a very real life story based on present day relationships. It is very sensible and also very appealing. Nanjunda Krishna Bio coming soon... >> Read More... executes the film well. He has flawlessly displayed the content of the film concentrating on the main story and avoiding any confusion. What is most important is to present properly the issue that the film is about. However, he should have made the first part more comical. In spite of the clichéd ending, he makes sure that the message reaches the audience.

Nanjunda does the dialogue writing which is also satisfactory. The scenes or the story are not breathtaking but still very decent. The music is by LN Shastry and he knows pretty well the demands of the film. The music is soothing and matches to the sequences very well. RV Nageshwar Rao uses his skill pretty well for the cinematography. However, he could use a little better technique to add more glamor to the film. Apart from this, the film is accountable in the story, execution, and music.

Star Performances: Rajesh Krishna plays the part of the shy software engineer Kiran. He does his role pretty well and suits the character. He wins a lot of hearts with his calm attitude. Chetna Gandhavar as Madhu does his part amazingly. His acting is appreciated the most. He is one reason why one should not miss the film. With his ease on screen, good dialogue delivery and excellent performance, he proves his potential as an artist. Kathika Menon too does the role of Anushka pretty well.

However, Akshata Moolra overpowers her. Ramakrishnan as the father and Yamuna Srinidi as the sister are also pretty decent. The overall performance by all the artists is well done and makes the film worth watching. They all suit their respective roles pretty well.

What’s there? The film gives a lot of reasons to watch. It has a good story, music as well as amazing performance. The director portrays the issue of the movie and does not deviate. It also delivers a very good message. With its very honest portrayal of the problem, it wins over the audience. The film shows a very sincere attempt by all the members of the cast and crew.

What’s not there? There is lack of glamor content. It seems dull at some parts. Apart from that, there is nothing wrong about it.

Verdict: Melody is certainly a must watch movie not only for the situation it portrays but on all aspects. It is a very genuine and victorious attempt and one should not avoid it.
