L N Shastri, also called Chaitanya by his friends and loved ones, was born on 30th August 1971. He married a famous singer Suma. He was a famous playback singer and music composer in the Indian film industry. As a playback singer, he started his career, with the film “Ajagajantra,” and in the span of his career sang more than 3000 songs. In 1998, he composed the very first song for the movie “Kanasalu Neene Manasalu Neene,” and after that, he has composed songs for more than 25 films. He got his major career break when he got the chance to sing “Kolumande Jangamadevaru,”
and it became the greatest hit of the year. He was supported by numerous music directors such as V.Manohar, Gurukiran,
, etc. In 1996, he was awarded the “Karnataka State Film for Best Male Playback Singer,” for the film Janumodi Jodi. During his early career in the 1990’s, he worked mainly as a playback singer, but for becoming a successful composer, he had worked with V.Manohar.
