Plot
Gautam, aka Dynamo, is a paranormal expert. He and his team get the information that a huge treasure is hidden in Morgan House, a haunted place once owned by the British officer George Morgan. So, they decide to visit the place to hunt the treasure, unaware of the haunted mansion’s history.
Star Performance
Sharan is quite decent in his role, which has both a serious and comedy tone. His comedy timing is impressive. Chikkanna is good in the given role. Aditi, Meghana, and Prabhu Mundkur have done justice to the given roles.
Analysis
Horror comedy films in India have the same concept of a huge villa and people entering the villa to grab the treasure, even though they know it is haunted. Choo Mantar is not a miss-out of the same concept. However, there are enough twists revealed at interesting places. With Sharan and the team’s decent performances, we can be satisfied to an extent, but not fully. When a scene gives us an interesting watch, the very next scene puts the momentum down. The screenplay should’ve been designed well. The BGM is quite decent and elevates a few scenes.

Verdict
Despite the flaws, the film manages to engage the audience throughout the film, though there are a few miss-outs in between. For Sharan’s comedy and the supporting stars’ decent performances, the movie is watchable once!
