Star Performance

Aadil Khan and Sadia played their part perfectly. They emoted naturally and also fit well in the roles.

The film is set in the backdrop of the late 80s and early 90s.  It depicts the soft love story. The clash between the Kashmiri pundits and the Muslim extremists had made many people leave their birthplace. However, some of them wanted to stay in their homeland and fight for justice. It is shown neatly in the film. The first half of the movie is good and the visuals are fantastic. However, the plot is predictable too. The characterization should have been better. The music and background score are fantastic. A lot of scenes seem to be cinematic and had slightly derailed from reality.

What's There?

  • Excellent performance by the stars
  • The script and the execution are good
  • Songs and the BGM are soulful

What's Not There?

  • Certain scenes seem to be cinematic

Shikara is a good love story with some excellent visuals and music. Except for a few flaws, the movie gives a good watch!
