Having graduated from Université de Bourgogne, actor, director and producer, Rahul Vohra, has been in the entertainment business since the 1980's. His talent and acting prowess for the Indian cinema can be seen in films like ‘Saanjh’ (2000), Monsoon Wedding (2001), ‘Swades’ (2004), Little Box of Sweets (2005), Breaking News (2007). and Bheja Fry (2011).
Apart from having skills and experience in acting and directing, in 1999, he worked as a proprietor and director artistic at Apostrophe 99. He was involved as a coordinator at Sarthi, a non-profit voluntary group that works to help improve the quality of Indian artists, weavers, musicians, etc.
He has been awarded the French Award, the prestigious Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres presented to him by the French Ambassador to India, Francois Richier, at the French Embassy in New Delhi. He received the award for his participation and contribution to French Theater.
