Basant and Lipi from India come to Australia, to lead a good future. Basant becomes friends with a New Zealand woman, named Madhurima, who is married to an Indian. In a 60-day driving course, both of them come close and develop a good bonding. On seeing their bonding, the community in which they live started opposing them. But, Basant didn’t listen to them and maintained his relationship with Madhu. This screw up their anger, further. What happens next? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

All the lead stars had performed well in their roles. But, the supporting stars are not perfect.

Abhijit Deonath has scripted the story well. The star selection is also good and all the stars suited the character well and emoted well, too. While the community people speak about the special bonding between Basant and Madhu, the audience also feels the same. But, in the end, the director reveals the reason, why Basant shared a great bonding with Madhu. The music and cinematography are perfect. The editing should have been a bit crisper.

What’s There?

  • Script and screenplay are good
  • The direction is good, especially in the climax

What’s Not There?

  • The editor should have trimmed certain scenes
  • Supporting cast is unimpressive

With a good script that deals with the relationship, the director has come out with a smart screenplay. Although he has executed well with the main star cast, the supporting stars didn’t do their work properly. However, Salt Bridge – Watchable Once!
