Six different stories interwoven into one movie and what’s the common link in all these six stories is something that everyone has gone through at least once in life sometimes it gives you immense joy, and sometimes it leaves you with a heart break; that thing is known as “LOVE.”

Plot: The theme of the movie is love, an unconditional feeling that occurs in different phases and circumstances in the lives all the six couples that are involved in the story. To give a better insight into the plot each story needs to summarize in their sequential order in which it presides in the movie.

“LOVE STORY 1:” Amna Ranawat(Priyanka Chopra) name changed just like most of the stars in Bollywood, is a small town girl who went on, to become a well-established actor and to land a role in Karan Johar’s next movie she fakes up a story to convince her suitability for the role. Soon Vinay falls in love with this young Anjali and continues his extra marital affair keeping Seema in dark, but before leaving for India for her sister’s wedding, she finds out about the affair and is left heartbroken.

“LOVE STORY 4:” This one is the most “Tragic”, but the storyline is a quite comic. Ashutosh Raina(John Abraham) falls in love with a Muslim reporter named Tehzeeb Hussain(Vidya Balan), Ashutosh’s father( Anang Desai Anang Desai was born on May 4, 1953 at Ahmedabad. >> Read More... ) is annoyed with this development and discards Ashutosh. One day while covering a story she is met with an accident and loses her memory and fails to recognize Ashutosh or anything that ever existed between them. This makes him quite heartbroken and he is even afraid to lose her forever as she might have to return back to her parent incase if she isn’t able to recover from this incidence.

“LOVE STORY 5:” Raju (Govinda), the taxi driver, helps out a white lady, Stephanie(Shannon Esra) who travels to India to meet her lover Rohit Chadha, who’s getting married to Gia. During their voyage across the North India, Raju falls in love with her but due to the language barrier, he fails to express himself and finally drops her off at Rohit’s wedding.

“LOVE STORY 6.” :This story involves a newly married couple of Ramdayal( Sohail Khan Sohail Khan is an Indian Film Actor. He is also a >> Read More... ) and a very attractive Phoolwati(Isha Kopikar), he wants to have some quality intimate time with her just like every newly married couple but fails to do so because of every time he tries there is something funny that keeps on happening.

Analysis: Nikhil Advani’s second directorial movie, is not that bad a movie as there are instances in the film that connects with the audience and the sense of humor present in the story of Ramdayal and Phoolwati, is quite funny but hardly gets any attention due to short screen time. All the stories have been good, and some have been exceptionally good but at points, the storyline is stretched to an extent which literally made the audience fell asleep and makes the movie lengthy. The film covers all kind of love stories from extramarital affairs to love across the boundaries. Performances Most of the star-studded lineup has lived up to the expectation by putting in an entertaining performance except for the likes of Salman and Priyanka, who could not adapt to the roles given to them. There have been exceptional performances by actors such as Govinda, Sohail Khan and Isha Kopikar, who have added the much-needed humor to such a long story.

What’s There: A whole lot of love; like an endless river. Moments that are heart touching and will bring tears to eyes of the audience. A beautiful and an entertaining music performances that will give a whole range of emotions. Single package for all kinds of dhamakas.

What’s not There: The film almost has everything in it from romance to drama to comedy and entertainment. There should have been more screen time for the story of Ramdayal and Phoolwati, who are trying to bring some intimacy to their new married life. The movie shifts to stories at a very brisk pace which leaves the audience with no time to sulk in and empathize with characters.

Verdict: Although not a bad movie but the story could have been a bit short and the film is full on Paisa vasool, as it is a rare occasion when so many superstars are sharing a screen together.
