Joe is the passionate guitarist, Aditya is ambitious singer, Rob plays keyboards while Kedar is known as KD ‘Killer Drummer,' this band wins a competition and steps ahead for an offer of an album.
This offer somehow shattered the band ‘Magik’. Joe wrote a slow track song for his girlfriend Debbie (Shahana), this song was suddenly removed from the album. Joe and Aditya have a clash and his results in the separation of the band. Aditya leaves his girlfriend Tania (Nicolette).
The movie takes a leap of 10 years. Aditya is married to Sakshi (

). She takes Aditya to KD’s jewelry shop, Aditya refuses to identify KD. Prachi somehow comes to know about the ‘Magik' band and tries to reunite them at Aditya’s birthday party.
Aditya fights with Sakshi for doing so, Sakshi feels sad and leaves. Aditya reached a point where he had no other option other than facing his past and the band restarts practicing, hearing this Sakshi returns.
Another contest is announced; Rob had countable days left as he is suffering from a brain tumor, all he wanted is the united performance of the band. The contest went live on air while Joe is leaving, the band performed on the song written by Joe 10 years back this hearing this Joe returns and the band Magik performs. This movie is all about the struggle and problems faced by the band and the attempts they made to overcome them.
Analysis: Rock On!! won 7 Filmfare awards. Director Abhishek Kapoor is responsible for making such a hit and mind blowing movie. The movie is written and produced by Farhan Akhtar; these things wins all the hearts.
Star performances:
Arjun Rampal and Farhan Akhtar created a sort of magic by their characters. The actors play a role of guitarist and a singer respectively. The acting of rest of actors is impressive. These things add a cherry on the cake.
This film gathered many awards and marked the successful Bollywood debut of the handsome Farhan Akhtar and the stunning Prachi Desai.
