Koel Purie Rinchet is a well-known actress, model and television show anchor and host of the popular show, ‘On The Casting Couch With Koel’. She has made appearances in a bunch of movies such as ‘Rock On!’ in the year 2008.

She was born on the 25th of November in the year 1978 in the capital city of New Delhi in India to Aroon Purie, the founder of the India Today group. After completing her higher secondary education, she joined the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art or RADA situated in the city of London in England.

The academy is known to have many notable alumni such as Tom Hiddleston, the late Alan Rickman, Anthony Hopkins, etc. She made her debut into the field of acting with film maker Rahul Bose in his debut directorial film called ‘Everybody Says I’m Fine!’ in the year 2001.

She played the role of Nikita a.k.A Nikki opposite Rahul Bose himself, Boman Irani and Pooja Bhatt. She gained popularity and recognition mostly through her iconic television show, ‘On The Couch With Koel’ which was first aired in the year 2007.

She is known to be one of the best celebrity talk show hosts and is known for her unique style of talking into the lives of the stars. She is also famous for asking the most controversial questions and interviewing some of the most famous celebrities and movie stars.
