) sole aim. He successfully blocks out and breaks down Khalid’s networks in Mumbai through his raids and encounters. Khalid becomes increasingly alarmed and comes up with a counter-plan to save his regime.
Like every other honest cop, Suryakant is caught in a web of deceit and lies smartly created by Khalid to destroy Suryakant. Suryakant loses his job and now is trapped in a dangerous situation, to work for Khalid or stay true to his morals and job.
What will Suryakant do and will he be able to eliminate and end the influential rule of Khalid Bin Jamal?

Analysis
Risk continuously gives the feeling of déjà vu as this is a genre that has been done since time immemorial in Bollywood. Director Vishram Sawant failed to impress us the way he did in his directorial debut, ‘D’. He does show some acts of brilliance though in the film. The film has been shot decently except that the plot was what did not work here.
Star Performances
Despite a good line up of actors, without a strong script, these resources weren’t utilized to their genuine potential. Vinod Khanna did a decent job, but RandeepHooda’s presence was one you could hardly ignore. He is the one who’d make you watch the movie till the end.
What’s There?
1. Randeep Hooda has done a decent job.
2. Great action scenes. The violent scenes seem completely realistic with the feeling passing on the viewer.
What’s not there?
1. An exciting plot.
2. Originality in narration is absent. It seems like a story that has been repeated over and over.
3. The script is predictable; you will know what’s going to happen next.

Watch this movie if you genuinely love and enjoy violence and this genre. So, watch it at your risk!
