is the story of guns blazing dacoit-turned- politician who leads and impresses in a man’s world.
Plot:
Alka Singh (Kangana Ranaut) is a fierce dacoit who calls the shots in the rustic and unforgiving territory of Chambal. This place is characterized by brutal violence, rebels and rival gangs that make gunshots a seemingly natural occurrence. Alka loves phashion, phun, and gun. She’s unapologetically violent, brash, reckless, audacious and full of sexual vigor.
But Alka’s arch nemesis- the Tomar family wins the Gwalior elections. They want to eliminate Alka, but she along with Kingmaker Balli Mama (

He is her sex toy and love interest. As Alka uses Rohan for her own fantasies, so does Rohan use Alka for getting towards his goal. One day Rohan is kidnapped by the Tomars in full Basanti style. Alka rescues him in a dramatic setting and eventually leaves the dirty world of politics to embrace the simpler joys of motherhood and love that were always buried deep down in her heart.
Analysis:
The movie rides on Kangana’s shoulders and she proves again that she is such a bankable actor. The movie twists between humor and seriousness and one need to understand the genre of black comedy to fully appreciate it. The characters, especially Alka’s are brilliantly conceived and it boasts of a story that you may not have come across earlier.
Star Performances:
Kangana, Kangana all the way! She turns into a firebrand with this metallic- bra- wearing, gunshot-yielding avatar. Apart from her, Piyush Mishra fits perfectly as the trusted uncle and mentor.

Revolver Rani is better than just a one-time-watch. Clearly, Kangana has stolen the show. Watch it for her acting prowess or to enjoy a different story.
