), who will redeem his role of a bitter ex-employee seeking revenge in robbing the bank he had worked.
This new chapter will hold themes of deceit, vindication, and heist, much like the original movie as the story picks up with Amitabh Bachchan's character's release from prison with a renewed thirst for rebelling against the law instilled within him. He plans yet another robbery along with a group of blind men- John Abraham being one of them.
Anees Bazmee, best known for making comedy hits, such as, Welcome, No Entry, etc. is set to direct this latest installment, with an eye out for a fresh cast that now also includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anil Kapoor, among other A-Listers. The release date hasn't been confirmed, but production has already begun, and the movie is said to go on the floors soon.
