Anees Bazmee was born in the place of Modasa, Gujarat. He is also called as Bazmee Sahab and he is a very popular movie director, movie writer and a screenplay writer as well. He has been active in the Bollywood industry from the year 1988 until the present. He is also a producer of movies and he is quite active in the Hindi film industry. He is the director of many successful movies like Singh is Kinng, , and Welcome, which were all based on comedy.

His debut work as an artist in the industry was as a dialogue writer for the movie Hum Farishte Nahin. He was then taking a small gap of 1 year and then he again started his career as a writer for the film Swarg. This movie was directed by and later Anees Bazmee joined hands with David Dhawan in his future projects. In the year 1995, he finally switched over to the directing department. The movie that he directed for the first time was Aankhen.

Before which he has been a film writer for 10 movies, after which he made a transition to directing films. He made his debut for the movie Hulchul upon which he casted Kajol and Ajay Devgn. He also had casted the same people for his second movie Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, which was a huge success. It made it to an accomplished box office collection of the year and ot received huge felicitation from the critics.

He took a gap of five years, after which he directed a movie known as Deewangee. His movie Singh is Kinng is a magical movie that had won the hearts of most of the Bollywood audiences. It had brought a huge impact to the Bollywood cinema and of-course he deserved it. His current project is to work on the remake of the Hollywood film . It is expected to trend set upon his directorial experiments.
