Plot

Jean Grey has been working in the space for a rescue mission. While she was working there, she had been hit by cosmic energy and she gets some unique powers. As she gets the powers, she turned dangerous and threatens the X Men and also the world. Now the X Men decide to save her and the world from her. What happened next? Were they be able to bring back everything to normal? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Michael Fassbender had performed well. Sophie Turner did justice to the given role. James McAvoy did his best.

Analysis

Unlike the previous versions, a few new characters had been introduced. The characterization is good and the stars who had taken charge had done their part well. Already established characters in the X Men series are also given meaty performances. Sophie Turner is the right choice and she occupies the screen almost all the time and impresses the audiences. Although certain action sequences are good, nothing is much impressive. The screenplay and the dialogues are unimpressive. The audiences are satisfied that the leading ladies are given a lot of scope and they had done their part perfectly.

What’s There?

  • Performances of the stars
  • Characterization is good

What’s Not There?

  • Screenplay and the dialogues are weak

Verdict

If the screenplay had been made crisper and if the dialogues are a bit sharper, the film might have impressed a lot of audiences. However, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is watch worthy!
