Plot
Garfield hates Monday and loves to stay indoors. He reunites with his long-lost father Vic, a scruffy street cat. After reuniting him, Garfield and Odie, his best pal are forced to join Vic for a wild outdoor adventure. What did they experience in their outing forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Chris Pratt and Samuel L Jackson are perfect as the son and dad. Their voiceovers are fantastic and their modulation is impressive. Hannah Waddingham’s energetic voice fits Jinx. Snoop Dogg lent his voice to Snoop Catt and it is perfect too.
Analysis
The plot is simple and generic. The comedy scenes are penned well. The emotional scenes are neatly implemented. The writing is impressive and it attracts people of all ages. The animation is not so real. But it is the one that makes the elder audience feel their cartoon days. However, the emotions are carved pretty well. The BGM gels well with the movie’s flow. The dialogues are good and hilarious. The film’s production value is high and so is the technical value.
