Plot

The movie opens with a scene in which a young woman named Amber runs through the forest. She was being chased by a murderer named Henry. Matt heard some sounds and ran to save the women. He shot the murderer in the head. Matt’s assistant and Matt found a box containing four worry dolls that worked as evidence for Henry. Henry’s mother, Della tried to snatch the dolls but was unsuccessful. Matt afterwards visits his ex-wife, Amy and his daughter, Chole. She secretly finds the dolls and makes a necklace out of them. She sold them off at her mother’s shop. Whosoever possessed them would become a murderer, including Chole. She killed her dog. Chole was hospitalised after that incident.

Matt and Darcy were searching for other evidence. They realised that all the cases were connected to the dolls. Matt met Della to learn more about the dolls. Della told Matt that the dolls were earlier used for healing purposes, but Henry’s depression made them cursed. To break the curse, Della asked for all the dolls. Matt collected the first two dolls. He got the third doll that cost Darcy’s life. Matt acquired the fourth doll from Amy’s boyfriend, Ethan. Matt took the doll and Chole to Della. She was about to use Chole for the curse, but Matt saved her. He accidentally threw dolls in the fire. Della jumped in the fire to save the dolls, but she herself got severely hurt. At last, everyone was saved except the dolls.

Analysis

The film's script is exciting and well-structured. Its execution is also good. But film does has some drawbacks and the movie could have been better. First, the plot of the movie is predictable which made the film less intense. The movie has a top-notch cinematography. The locations shot are pretty natural and realistic.

The film’s pace is not that good. The first half of the show was good, but the second half was rushed through, too. It was fast, so audience were unable to make sense out of it. The film was supposed to be horror, but it was not so scary. The dolls could be terrifying. They complimented the script. The sound effects used are also good. The primary and supporting cast delivered fantastic performances throughout the movie. The music in the film is fun as well.
