Plot: The plot revolves around the characters Don and Ellie Griffin. The marriage between the couple is broken. Their adopted son is to enter the wedlock, and his real mother decides to participate in the marriage. Now, Don and Ellie are pushed to the plight of playing a very happy couple. The couple’s intention is to avoid any possible embarrassment during the marriage. With their grown up children and close associates closely watching them, both have to face the past, present, and future in all its sordidness. Lyla and Jared are Don and Ellie’s children, and Alejandro is the adopted son from Colombia.

In one of the first few scenes in the movie, Alejandro desires that his biological mother participates in his marriage. His biological mother is a very conservative woman sticking to traditions. And, she would not desire to know that her son’s foster father and mother are divorced. So, Don and Ellie have to put up a show. Don’s new fiancé Bebe is disappointed, and she exits out of his life. The couple’s daughter Lyla faces turbulence in her marriage. There is a twist in the movie when Hared is attracted to Alejandro’s sister.The couple has to take in some sordid realities as their drama would rekindle sour feelings in their children. The couple is enacting a happy marriage between each other. But, while portraying the characters, the moviemakers have made a grave mistake by merely assuming that it is humor to make respected actors behave in an unruly manner.

Verdict: There is an odd sense of humor in the movie. If you have got a taste for good humor, the movie is not the right choice. v
