Plot
Six Rozzum robots are lost from a cargo ship during a storm. When five robots are crashed, Roz is the one who escapes. She lands on an island where there are no human inhabitants. She can see only the animals and tries to serve them. Even after translating the animal languages after several days, she finds that none needs her help. When she decides to signal her manufacturers to retrieve her, a bear chases her. When she tries to escape, she accidentally kills the mother goose. She finds an egg that was saved. Soon, the egg hatches, and she names the gosling Brightbill. Soon, Brightbill learns that Roz killed her family. She hates her and leaves. Soon, a snowstorm blows, and Roz tries to save all the animals, even though her battery weakens. What will happen next? Was she able to save them? The rest of the film speaks about Roz and Brightbill’s relationship.
Star Performance
Lupita excelled in giving her voice to Roz. Her modulations are wonderful. Kit Connor, Pedro Pascal, and Catherine have done a good job.
