Plot
Buster Moon gathers all his friends to attend the audition at Crystal Towers. Rosita and Gunter, the Piggies, Johnny, the Gorilla, Meena, the Elephant, and Ash, the porcupine, are heading towards the Crystal Towers. As they didn’t have an appointment, they had to wait long. An opportunity knocked on their door when they were about to get rejected. Rockstar Clay, the Lion, voluntarily retired from singing after the death of his wife. Buster promises to bring him back. Will he be successful? What happened in the audition? The rest of the film deals with it.
Star Performance
The voices of the stars fit well for the animated characters. Their modulations and changeovers are excellent.
Analysis
The director has come with a neat script and quick screenplay. The characters are designed well, and each one carries their unique characteristics and is impressive. The songs are perfect and inserted in the right places. The animation works are neat and colorful too. The director wanted to convey a message, and he has done it well without making the film preachy.
