Written and filmed under the direction of Robert Rodriguez, ‘Spy Kids: All the Time in the World’ is a movie in which few agents of a spy company try to catch the criminal, Tick Tock. Tick Tock buys a mini-disk that got stolen from the OSS (Organization of Super Spies). The star cast of the movie was Jessica Alba playing the role of Marissa Wilson, and Joel McHale as Marissa’s husband, Wilbur Wilson. Other stars were Alexa Vega for the role of Carmen, Daryl Sabara for the role of Juni, Rowan Blanchard (Rebecca), Mason Cook (Cecil), Ricky Gervais (Argonaut), and Jeremy Piven (Danger D’Amo Time Keeper). The movie took a budget of 27 million US dollars in its making and it earned 85.6 million US dollars.

PLOT:

A mini-disk gets lost by the Organization of Super Spies and their agent, Marissa Wilson, leads a team of spies to find the mini-disk and the criminal Tick Tock, who owns the mini disk now.

Marissa Wilson is a nine-month pregnant spy who follows the order of her boss, Danger D’Amo, to catch the criminal, Tick Tock, and obtain the mini-disk, which has the information of ‘Project: Armageddon’ related to a weapon of mass destruction. The pursuit accomplished, and Marissa gives birth to a daughter. Her husband is a spy-hunting TV host who thinks his wife is an interior designer. His two twin children did not accept Marissa as their step mother and play pranks on Marissa to irritate her. Marissa tries to build rapport with Rebecca by giving her the red sapphire necklace, given to Marissa by her parents.

Later on, Marissa finds out that the time is running very fast, because a masked mastermind criminal, Time Keeper, with the help of Tick Tock, manipulates the time. The only way to stop them was by the red sapphire, which Marissa gave to Rebecca. The twin step-children get to know about their step mother’s secret, and they both reach the Spy Kids Division and are briefed by Marissa’s niece, Carmen. The children get to know all about the Time Keeper and Tick Tock, and how they have manipulated time. Marissa’s husband, Wilbur, finds out that his wife is a spy, and he loses his job, because he destroys the video clip that records the spy mission. The time controlling instrument was locked deep down by OSS, and the project was shut down years ago, and he was the boy frozen. Later on, the twins find out that the OSS head, Danger D’Amo, is the Time Keeper, and he imprisons the twins and ceases the time by pausing all the agents except Juni. Juni saves everyone and Time Keeper goes back in time to meet his father, and finds out that it’s all a waste of time.

Other than that, critics appraised only few moments of the movie. The acting of other actors was not much praised. However, they tried their best to lift up the film to a set standard. Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara were present in the earlier films of the Spy Kids, and their acting was up to the benchmark.
