Plot
Following the suicide of Rose Cotter, Joel, the ex-cop, wished to pass the Smile Entity’s curse to a couple of criminals. While the criminals are shot dead, Lewis, a drug dealer, witnesses it, and the curse is transferred. Soon, Joel dies in an accident. In New York, Skye is getting ready for her comeback, after her boyfriend, Paul Hudson’s death. During the rehearsals, Skye hurt her back and hence visits Lewis to get the painkiller. She witnesses him succumb to the curse and flees from the place without informing the cops. After some time, Skye’s mother forces her to accept her to give a speech at a fundraiser event. Skye meets her friend Gemma after a year. Skye gets text messages from an unknown number stating that she is in danger. Soon, Skye has nightmares about Paul’s death. What will happen next? Will Skye be the next victim? The rest of the film explains these.

Naomi’s performance is exceptional. She emotes well in the horror sequences making the audience travel with her.
Analysis
Parker Finn has penned a tight script with enough horror elements to satisfy the fans, who love this genre. The music composer should be appreciated for bringing the sudden horror sound after a second of silence. Whether it is loud or feeble, the music composer make the audience’s spines chilled. The screenplay is fast and the director makes the audience go to the seat’ edge and watch the film without blinking their eyes. The climax is well shot with a twist and comedy, which will definitely impress the audience.
