The two of them separated in October last year and had recently filed the divorce papers. Apparently, they tried a lot to save the marriage, more so because Drew had become so close to Kopelman's family, his mom and his sister. 

At an interview with a talk show host, she couldn't stop gushing over how nice they were to her and how she had hit the jackpot regarding in-laws. A source close to the Charlie's Angels actress said that she is very upset because of the divorce and that she is going to do everything that she can to give her daughters with a peaceful childhood.
