is Pais's daughter, who gets to understand more about life. Will she love McNairy back? ANALYSIS: The director of the movie, Shelton, did a good job in casting, and she had a strong hold on all the characters. But she did not give a strong and valid reason for why something happens. She did not give the reason for why the mystical changes happened. She simply seems to concentrate on setting the scenes in motion. Shelton gives us more detail on interpersonal relationships through all the characters.
STAR PERFORMANCES: DeWitt and Pais delivered a beautiful performance as siblings. Page did an effective role. The scene, when McNairy and Page goes to a concert and falls for their loved ones is described beautifully. When Page proposes McNairy lately, the way he explains and makes her understand that he is looking for DeWitt to come back is one marvelous scene. Though there is no place for much dialogue, they beautifully play with the emotions at the moment.
WHAT'S THERE? Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne's gorgeous shots took in the close proximity using 16mm camera is something to be looked out for. Paul's performances give us some light-hearted moments and chuckles here and there.
WHAT'S NOT THERE? Logic at certain scenes will not satisfy us. A clear fact that the director's perspective and audience assumption are matching, seems to be missing. We never get a compassionate feel or a sympathy for the protagonist since her suffering looks baseless.
VERDICT: This movie failed to make the right touch.
