Plot
The film revolves around drug shipping. A CEO of an international company sends his two men to oversee the drug shipping and to investigate why the shipment of cocaine is being hijacked and cut off in the supply chain at the same time an experienced federal agent tracks a group of drug dealers from the farm via smugglers and cartel lords to corrupt authorities and DEA trying to bring them down. The map that follows the drug shipment serves as the continuation of the movie. In the film, the map is displayed multiple times. All the characters in the movie use their generic names and never disclose their real names.
Star Performance
The actors' outstanding performances make the movie worthwhile to see. They are the movie's main attraction. The performances of Nicholas Cage and Laurence Fishburne were excellent, they are both acclaimed performers who have won awards for their past roles. Each performer did a good job of capturing their roles in the film. Barry Pepper and Leslie Bibb did an excellent job in their respective parts. Leslie Bipp had previously played a detective in Crossing Jordan, so this is not her first time taking on the role of an agent.
Analysis
The focus of the movie is on drug trafficking and its negative impacts. The spectator might quickly forget the numerous individuals and multiple plots that make up the movie. Because the scenes aren't presented in a coherent manner, the film is a little confusing and disorganized. Despite the erratic plotline and scenes, the actors did a remarkable job that has been sufficiently praised. Though the editing could have been a little bit better, the cinematography is magnificent.

The movie explores drug dealing and its adverse effects. It is a nice one if you enjoy movies about drug dealing and the detectives who track down dealers.
