Plot

Mara Bylor is a worker at a clothes shop. Her hobby is photography. She compliments and comforts others. She met her friend, Alex, at the pub. Her friend Alex is gay. They start talking to each other. She is now really hungry. She wanted to eat fancy food. But she does not have that much money to afford it. So she then uses a dating app to find a guy who can take her to dinner. She found a guy called Jake Riddick. They went on a date. She starts picking up her order. Jake himself is a chief. He realized that she just came for food. He asked her if he could cook her food made by him. She agreed, and they went to his restaurant. He cooked pancakes for her, and she liked it. They spent their night together. Slowly kept getting closer to each other.  One day, Mara's sister Jessica shared the news that she would be going to be married and at the same time, Jake's brother also shared the information that he was going to be married. The next day, Both Jake and Mara received multiple wedding cards. So they both decided to seven weddings together, including their siblings' weddings. What will be the reaction of others seeing this couple? Will they keep their relationship together forever like this? The rest of the film speaks about this.

Star Performance

Sarah Hyland is the prominent star in the film. She truly showcased the role of Mara Baylor. A sweet person who likes to comfort and compliment other is beautifully showcased by her. Tyler James Williams is a worthy actor. His performance is truly grateful. Matt Shively, the role of Alex was good. A trustworthy advisor to a friend. Anna Camp, as Ellie, also showcased the role of true advisor and good shop owner. Camille Hyde, as Nicole, was incredible. A jealous ex who just wanted to be jealousy of his current girlfriend. All the other characters played a significant impact.

Analysis

The characterization was good. The casting was incredible. One thing that was missing was the storyline. The movie is focused more on romance than storyline. The first half was very exciting, but later it became boring. The music and songs were good but not catchy. The movie was simple enough anyone to understand. The film shows various problems of dating at the first stage. Love, care, concern, jealousy, etc. are the elements of the first stage dating phase. These are beautifully shown in the movie.

What’s There?

  • The film has a good amount of romance.
  • The film is not lengthy.

What’s Not There?

  • The film does not have a  great storyline.
  • The film lacks suspense.

Verdict

The film is most primarily suitable for teenagers who are currently in a relationship, or trying to be on a relationship. Teenagers understand the problem of dating better than adults or people who have been married for a long time. So this movie is suitable for teenagers. People who like romance will also like this movie.
