The film is produced by New Line Cinema, Double Dream, Vertigo Entertainment and Rideback. Warner Bros Pictures distributed the film. James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, Jay Ryan, Andy Bean and Bill Skarsgård are in the star cast.

Plot

All the members of the Losers Club are enjoying their city life, whereas Mike stays in the town and works as a librarian. After getting a call from Mike, the rest of the people travel to their town. Why did he call? What happened to him? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy had performed excellently well. In fact, their childhood roles performed by the young stars are still lively and lovely. The rest of the stars did what is required for their roles.

Analysis

The first thing is the people who have watched the first part could connect it easier than the first time viewers of this series. The horror elements are rightly used. The horror and the comedy scenes are finely mend and they are placed at right places. The film is sound in the technical departments. The screenplay is impressive and it moves the story perfectly.

What’s There?

  • Script and screenplay are good
  • Performance of the stars are natural
  • Nothing is inserted forcedly

What’s Not There?

  • Runtime is the biggest drawback

Verdict

IT Chapter Two has come with an interesting story and finely scripted screenplay. Except the run time, the film didn’t have much negatives and hence it is watchable once for sure.
