Plot: Mia is a teenager who is rather aggressive and is thrown out of her school. She lives in an all ladies household with her mother and little sister. She has absolutely nothing to do when she is awaiting her admission. In those times, she increases her friendship with her mother's boyfriend who induces in her the interest in dancing.
What you may like:
1. Everything in the movie is just right. You will not feel impatient or out of context at any point. This movie hits the core of reality and the tone of the movie is bang on.
2. Katie Jarvis is a debutante and therefore, inexperienced but the kind of raw energy and talent that she brings about in the movie is something that keeps the movie going and it just feels very right to have casted a new comer girl. Her performance as a resentful and dark teenager is very well played and therefore makes the movie rather believable.
3. The movie deals with real time situation and is vibrant and lively in its portrayal.
4. Arnold has done a very good job in dealing with the characters of the movie which is why the movie seems to be a great watch.
5. This work of art is exquisite and very impactful.
What you may dislike:
● There are very few points which you can really pin down in order to say that this movie is not good enough but one thing that will surely be a little disappointing would be that there is a mix of good and bad moments. At times the story may come out too strongly and maybe too weak sometimes.
Verdict: A definite watch because of the raw energy that is brought by Katie Jarvis. A wonderful and well made movie all in all and should be given a watch.
