Plot

Barb and Star are two best friends. They are middle-aged women. They left their home of Soft Rock, Nebraska for the first time. Because they are going, for a vacation, they are going, to Vista Del Mar, Florida to spend their holiday. Before going to Florida, they decided to do something new this time. They made an imaginary character called Trish. They made Trish a water spirit. When they arrived there, they became excited to see luxurious things. They decided they would true an inflatable banana inner tube ride. Sharon Fisherman is trying to kill all the denizens of Vista Del Mar. Because she lived here since childhood and she used to be constantly bullied. She thinks of killing them using bloodthirsty mosquitoes. She tells Edgar to plant homing beacon, which will attract mosquitoes. Barb and Star saw Edgar. They invite him to the party. Edgar enjoys party with them, but he loses the microchip of the beacon which Sharon has given to him. Where did he lose the chip? Will Sharon's plan be successful? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Kristen Wiig did an outstanding performance in the film. She played both characters, Star and Sharon. Her role as Star was fascinating. She shows the genuine concept of a friend in the movie. Her role as villain Sharon was outstanding. Her evil mind and meaningful backstory were incredible. It is challenging work for an actor to play two actors with different personalities. But Kristen Wiig did this difficult work with ease. Annie Mumolo as Barb was great and funny at the same time. Her role makes the audience laugh. Jamie Dornan did a fantastic performances in the film–his role as Edgar was extraordinary. Reba McEntire and Ian Gomez also made a remarkable performance in the movie. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film is entirely different from other films. The storyline, at some point, becomes confusing. The theme is all about the friendship of the two middle-aged women. The film shows this theme hilariously. The adventurous journey of the two best friends is shown in the film. The dialogues were excellent. The dialogues were hilarious. The funny scenes were executed very well. The film does not have a plot twist, but the plots were executed very well.
