While it is yet to be confirmed if the project is ‘Akhanda 2’, some reports have given a major hint: the movie will be an action drama, with lots of devotional elements!

The project is set to be one of the most expensive films in the careers of both Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu. The two have had many successful collaborations before. However, one of their most successful collaborations must be the 2021 action drama ‘Akhanda’, where Nandamuri Balakrishna played the double role of a social reformer and his estranged brother, who is an Aghori sadhu.

Made on a budget of 60 crores, the movie earned a whopping total of 150 crores worldwide, despite the restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

If Boyapati Srinu is working on the sequel of ‘Akhanda 2’, this would be the perfect opportunity for him to restore his reputation in the Telugu box office.
