Akhanda 2 Rescheduled For Better Prospects

It’s official. Akhanda 2 has been postponed.

According to the recent reports, the cultural action drama has been rescheduled for better prospects. The movie was to initially by the end of September, around the same time as Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited action drama They Call him OG, which co-stars Emraan Hashmi in a prominent role.

So when would Akhanda 2 hit the theatres? Initially there were calls to postpone the film to December 5, the same as the Bollywood movie Dhurandhar’s release date. However, not everyone approved of it. Ultimately, the film would hit the silver screens on the occasion of Sankranthi, i.e. around the same time as Tamil movies Jana Nayagan and Karuppu.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 stars the Telugu superstar alongside actors like Shamna Kasim, Aadhi Pinsetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Samyuktha Menon etc. Balakrishna was last seen in the action drama titled Daaku Maharaaj, which was a moderate success at the box office despite clashing with the likes of Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.
