Nagarjuna is the son of Telugu superstar Akkineni Nageswara Rao Akkineni Nageswara Rao is undoubtedly the ‘Bhisma >> Read More... . Though he had made  his debut as a child artist by 1961, his first movie as a lead hero was Vikram, which was the Telugu remake of the Bollywood classic Hero.

Despite initial criticism for his acting, Nagarjuna made his way to becoming one of the most prominent stars in Tollywood. He also earned significant fame in Bollywood with movies like Shiva, Criminal, Zakhm, and Brahmastra : Part 1, where he played an archaeologist Anish Shetty, who possesses the Nandi Astra.

Nagarjuna last worked in the movie Naa Saami Ranga, which didn’t turn out to be commercially successful. He is currently awaiting the release of the action drama Coolie, where he will be playing the role of the lead antagonist.
