Will Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Play The Titular Role, The Iron Lady?

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who has been working in a couple of films now, has announced that she has signed doing the biopic on “Jayalalithaa,” The Iron Lady. The title poster was released by “A R Murugadoss,” who said that he is extremely happy and excited to launch the title poster of Jayalalithaa biopic. He wished Priyadarshini and team a grand success. Priyadarshini is the former associate of director “Mysskin.” She has been working with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the movie titled “Shakti.” After Murugadoss released the biopic title poster, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar shared the poster and revealed that she is doing a part in the film. However, she said that she doesn't know about the role given to her. Here is Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s tweet: “Thank you all for the wishes.. but NOTHING has been finalised regarding #THEIRONLADY with @priyadhaarshini ... when and if we do finalise things I will be the first to let u all know.. thank you .. as I’m travelling abroad I’m not able to attend most of the media calls..apologies.” It was earlier stated that either Varalaxmi Sarathkumar or Nithya Menen would be playing the titular role. Trisha Krishnan and Ramya Krishnan had also expressed their wish to play Jayalalithaa in the biopic. So, let us wait and watch for the information from the makers of Jayalalithaa biopic.
