Vijayakanth’S Son Buys Chennai Team In PBL!

The auction for the Premier League Badminton was held in Delhi, yesterday. Captain ‘Vijaykanth’s son Vijaya Prabhakaran owns the Chennai team and has named it as Chennai Smashers. Chennai Smashers has the Indian players such as P. V. Sindhu, Jerry Chopra, Sikki Reddy and Krishna Priya. Simon Santoso, Sony, Pia, Chris Adcock, Brice and Toby are the overseas players, who are selected to play for Chennai Smashers. The Premier League Badminton will be launched on 2nd January. The first match starts at Mumbai. Then, it continues in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore. The final match will be held in Delhi. Vijaya Prabhakaran said that he would give the list of the coach and the crew details in his next Press Meet. He also stated that, if his team Chennai Smashers wins the final game, he will be giving 50% of the prize amount to the flood affected victims.
