Thalapathy “Vijay” has a huge fan base in Tamilnadu and Kerala. Now, the star’s popularity rose after “Mersal.” He is widely known in India. Recently, a report stated that nearly 119 million viewers watched Vijay movies on TV, this year. A report was released regarding the TRP of the TV movies. In that report, first place is grabbed by the popular Bollywood star and the second is by a famous Tollywood star. Third place goes to Vijay, the Kollywood star. No other Tamil stars are on the list. Vijay fans are happily circulating the news on their social media pages. In the professional front, following the success of the Atlee Kumar directorial venture, Mersal, Vijay will be next seen in “A R Murugadoss” film. The yet to be titled film will be shot in January 2017 and will be released for Diwali like Mersal.
