“இந்தக் கவிதை இந்த தொகுப்பில் உள்ள கவிதைதான் 1. "கூரை விரிசல்வழி ஆகாயத்தையும் அதில் அலையும் விண்மீன் கூட்டத்தையும் எப்போதோ எட்டிப்பார்க்கும் வெண்மதியையும் பார்த்து அலுத்துவிட்டதாம் கணப்பொழுதெனும் காகிதத்தில் நடக்கத் துடிக்கிறது ... வெகுநாட்களாய் மேசை மேலிருக்கும் பேனா… வீட்டுத் தாழ்வாரத்தில் கட்டிலில் படுத்தே கிடக்கும் 26 வயது பெண்ணின் ஆசை அபிலாசைகள் குறித்தும் எனக்கு கவலை வரும் சோறு மட்டுமே போதாதில்லையா இந்த மானுடத்திற்கு முதிர்கன்னி குறித்த இந்த கவிதை…

2.ஆவணியில் தாவணி போட்ட தளிர்களுக்கெல்லாம் ஐப்பசியில் திருமணப்பட்டுடுத்தி மாலை சூடும் வேளையை வாரி வாரி வழங்கிய நீ வருடங்கள் வந்து போக விரதங்கள் வீணாக விரல் வளை கைவளையாகும்படி எனை ஏன் ஏங்க வைக்கிறாய்? நான் சூடிக்கொடுத்த மாலை மட்டும் கள்ளிப்பூக்களால் ஆனதோ..?”
