Thani Oruvan Team Bagged Three Awards!

Thani Oruvan, a film by Mohan Raja is one of the best movies in his career, so far. The film has bagged three awards in the 63rd Filmfare Awards South. The film starred by Jayam Ravi, “Nayantara” and Arvind Swamy was directed by Mohan Raja. Thani Oruvan bagged Best Supporting Actor Award, Best Director and Best Actor Critics Award. Jayam Raja, who won the best director award called his dad, Editor Mohan to the stage and made him collect the award and honored him. Raja’s wife was in an ecstatic state that her husband wins the Best Director Award. Arvind Swamy, who played the antagonist in the film, gained the Best Supporting Actor Award and Jayam Ravi, the protagonist collected the Critics Award for Best Actor. Besides them, Chiyaan Vikram was honored with the Best Actor Award (Male) for “I” and Nayantara received Best Actor Award (Female” for Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Critics’ best actor in female category was awarded to Jyothika Saravanan, who dedicated the award to her husband Suriya Sivakumar saying, "To the best thing that happened to me in my life. He knows how to treat his woman just right. Love you Suriya." Such a wonderful pair isn’t it!
