has been questioning the Tamilnadu government right from the day they decided to open the TASMAC shops during the lockdown days. He even filed a petition in the Madras High Court against opening the TASMAC shops. After receiving a massive number of petitions to shut the TASMAC, the Madras HC ordered to close the TASMAC. But, the TN Government decided to appeal it further at the Supreme Court and did it. Kamal Haasan said that he will not leave the issue and would also appeal it to the Top Court.
Today, he posted that the state should have been the topper on the development side, but it had been moving to the top in recession. Here is his tweet: “முன்னேற்றத்தில் முதலிடத்தில் இருக்க வேண்டிய தமிழகம் பின்னடைவில் முதலிடத்தை நோக்கி நகர்கிறது. கொரோனா பாதிப்பில் 8ம் இடத்திலிருந்து 2ம் இடத்தை எட்டிப் பிடித்து விட்டது. காசுக்கு மட்டும் ஆசைப்பட்டு, மதுக்கடைகளை திறக்க நீதிமன்றத்தில் வாதாடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது அரசு. #தாங்குமாதமிழகம்.”
