After coming out from Raj Bhavan, he straight away went to Marina and stood before Mahatma Gandhi statue and started the protest. Soon, he was arrested. On hearing this, there happened a riot in Karur and the buses were damaged. Stalin stated that it is a Black day for Tamilnadu and people have to protest against this government.
