Simbu Reduces His Salary For Venkat Prabhu!

“Silambarasan,” the smart young actor was last seen in Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan. The highly expected film was a flop. However, Simbu was booked doing one among the leads in a multi-starrer movie, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film has Jyothika Saravanan, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy and Arun Kumar with Simbu. The actor recently wrapped up his part in the film and had been gearing up for the next. He will be next seen in a film with Venkat Prabhu and it will be produced by Suresh Kamatchi. Simbu was expected to raise his salary by Rs. 10 crores, after Mani Ratnam movie. But, he has agreed to do the film with Venkat Prabhu for Rs. 4 crores, stated a source. It is also heard that after wrapping up Venkat Prabhu film, Simbu would join Karthick Naren venture. Karthick has been gearing up to release his second film “Naragasooran” with Arvind Swamy and Shriya Saran.
