Fashion Movie Makers, a production company planned for a movie titled Arasan with Simbu and he agreed to do the movie for a remuneration of Rs 1 crore and they paid Rs 50 lakhs to Simbu on 17th June 2013. As per the agreement, Simbu didn't go to the shooting and the production company had to suffer a huge loss. A case was filed against “Silambarasan” and the case came to the hearing today. After the arguments from both the sides, the judge Govindaraj said that Simbu should pay the advance amount of Rs 50 lakhs plus the interest which amounts to Rs 85. 50 lakh within 4 weeks and if he didn't pay the amount, all the household items in Simbu’s house including his fridge, TV washing machine, tables, chairs and all the essential things including his car and mobile phones will be confiscated.
