While shooting an action sequence with Rana, Sampath had been practicing a fight and got injured on his forehead. But, he managed somehow and completed the shooting. 

But, after 15 days, he had dizziness and went to the hospital for a checkup. The doctors found a blood clot and he was immediately admitted to Vijaya Hospital and had been getting his treatment in ICU. Sampath has been getting back to normal. After a few days of rest, he will take part in the shooting. Get well soon, Sampath!
