Sai Pallavi’s Debut Tamil Film Is Not Karu But Diya!

Sai Pallavi, the “Premam” Malar teacher, has just made her debut in Tamil with “Karu.” Now, the film directed by “A. L. Vijay” has been retitled as “Diya.” The reason for the title change is not known. The film is all set to hit the screens on 27th April. The date was locked for Kaala Karikalan, the Superstar “Rajinikanth” film. As Rajini agreed to shift his film to June, paving the way for the small films to release after the movie strike, Karu alias Diya gets the release date. In Diya, Sai Pallavi pairs, Naga Shourya, the Tollywood hero. Diya is a Tamil and Telugu bilingual. “Sam CS” composed the music and Nirav Shah cranked the camera. Sai Pallavi has “NGK” with Suriya Sivakumar and “Maari 2” with “Dhanush” on the queue for the release.
