Listen to "Remove The Ban On “Kathukutti”, Utters Vaiko! "
The movie “Kathukutti” helmed by the newcomer R. Saravanan is banned for two weeks, as the financier filed a case against the producer for violating the deal. The popular politician Vaiko, who watched the premiere show of the movie, supports for the removal of the ban. He says, “After the Mullivaikal issue I have not been to the theatres. I am not interested in the movies too. Recently, I watched Ravana Desam, which depicts the problems faced by the Srilankans and Veera Pandiya Kattabomman, which is a digitized movie. Saravanan, who was once a reporter in Junior Vikatan, invited me to watch his directorial venture. I watched the movie and got goose bumps. It is an excellent movie and it states the problems faced by the farmers. How the farmers are being crushed by the corporate companies and the real estate people, are finely filmed in “Kathukutti”. This movie does not have double meaning dialogues, item dance or blooded action sequences. This movie is full of greenery and good message. After watching the movie I thanked Saravanan for giving such a good movie. When I heard that this movie is banned, it shocked me, really. The ban should be removed soon. This movie is a good one and surely will succeed”.
