He noted that the migrant workers had been suffering without food and basic needs and if the government had deposited some money for them before the lockdown, they would have settled in the place where they are till the lockdown gets over. As they didn’t have enough money, they decide to go back to their hometowns.
The coronavirus cases in India had reached 12000. Today, two more people died in Tamilnadu due to corona and the death toll rises to 14. 118 people in Tamilnadu had recovered so far. Kerala has controlled the coronavirus spread considerably. The state has got just one report today.
