Nadigayar Thilagam Teaser Impresses!

Nadigaiyar Thilagam \ “Mahanati” is the upcoming film scripted and directed by Nag Ashwin. The teaser of the film released yesterday and impressed the audiences. Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role Nadigaiyar Thilagam, “Savitri.” The bilingual biopic has Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganesan. Shalini Pandey plays “Jamuna” and Naga Chaitanya plays Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Prakash Raj plays a popular producer. The film is shot from the perspective of Madhuravani, a journalist cum documentary filmmaker and the role is done by none other than Samantha Akkineni. Vijay Deverakonda plays Vijay Antony, Samantha’s pair. The teaser has Keerthy… Keerthy and Keerthy! Others just appear in a fraction of seconds. Some black and white sequences remind us of “Missiamma,” the film that had Gemini, Savitri, Jamuna and “S V Ranga Rao.” It was a bilingual too. Nadigayar Thilagam background music score is by “Mickey J Meyer” and it is awesome. The BGM beats take us to the black and white days! The film releases on 9th May 2018.
