After a clash with the Animal Welfare Board of India, Mersal was denied the No Objection Certificate and hence they were not given the Censor Certificate too. Mersal team cut the scenes as suggested by AWBI and following which they were provided the NOC, yesterday night. After getting the NOC, they have to get the changes in the DVD and send it to Censor Board. As it took time, the Censor officers told the Mersal team to receive the Censor Certificate today. Now, the Mersal team got the Censor Certificate too. No more Hurdles! Mersal Diwali Celebrations Started!
