replaced him. Although Mahesh and Rakul are not much familiar in Tamilnadu, the film made a super hit like that of Tamil star heroes’ films. The film made an excellent collection in Chennai with Rs. 2.8 crore and in the North India, it is said to have collected Rs. 7 crore. It is to be noted that Spyder is one among the top Telugu films that collected well at the North Indian box office. The reason for the failure of the film in Telugu is still a big question. Although it is a debut Tamil film for Mahesh, the film had collected well here. But, some of the Telugu audiences stated that the supporting actors are from Tamil and they find it hard to sync them.
