Madhavan In Charlie Remake?

“R Madhavan,” who made his reentry to Kollywood with “Irudhi Suttru” has been offered various roles in Kollywood and Tollywood. The actor has not signed a movie yet. The latest buzz on Maddy is he would be doing the role of Dulquer Salmaan in “Charlie” in a Tamil remake. Although Maddy denied it initially, he has given his nod finally, says a source. It is heard that the remake rights of Charlie had been bought by LYCA Productions, who have been busy producing “2.0” featuring “Rajinikanth,” Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar. AL Vijay will direct the film and Parvathi Menon might reprise her role, says a source. The film will go on the floors at the beginning of 2017. AL Vijay is at present busy in directing Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhu Deva in Tamil and Telugu bilingual, “Abhinetri”/”Devi.” Stay tuned for more updates on Kollywood news!
