“Kabali,” the most anticipated Tamil movie of the year is gearing up for the release on 22nd June. The film will be sent to the censor board this week and will be certified. “
Rajinikanth
,” the hero of the film has been holidaying in the US and is expected to return India, before the release of the film. Recently, the costume designer of Kabali,
Anu Vardhan
opened about Rajini. She said, “Rajini sir is very confident in the appeal. While many of the young actors are particular about their costume, Rajini sir didn’t get scared to wear what we suggest him. This is the real relief for any designer. Super Star is an excellent person to work with. He doesn’t have any hang-ups but works as per the instruction of the director. He seems to be open to working with the younger generation. Rajini sir encouraged us a lot. He insisted us to tell him the inputs. In Kabali we used more of white, blue and varieties of gray shades. Those colors looked nice on him and so we applied the same color palettes. Muted colors were used for the older getup. The younger Rajini will be seen in colorful and printed shirts. Rajini sir transformed into the role instantly and it surprised me a lot. He is an energetic man.”
