Kaala Release Postponed!

Due to the film industry strike, a lot of films are waiting for the release in April. Following this, the Tamilnadu Film Producers Council had a discussion session with the producers. In that discussion session, LYCA has agreed to postpone the release of Kaala Karikalan, which is supposed to be released on 27th April. As nearly 37 films are waiting for the release, Superstar “Rajinikanth” film team has decided to make way for them and pushed their film release by a month. It is to be noted that Kaala had already been censored and ready to hit the screens. TFPC Secretary Durairaj confirmed that Kaala would not release on 27th April. Meanwhile, LYCA Productions’ next release will be Sai Pallavi and Naga Shourya starrer, “Karu” directed by AL Vijay! However, we have to appreciate Superstar and his team for sacrificing the release dates. Already Rajini’s “2.0” directed by “S Shankar,” which was planned for 2017 release, had been delayed by a year.
